How are classes scheduled at A1 Music Academy?

We offer four classes per month, scheduled according to your convenience within our working hours. You have complete flexibility to choose the day and time. A grace period of one week is provided to complete the four classes in each month. If you miss a class, it can be rescheduled based on mutual availability with the tutor.

What is the duration of each class?

Each class runs for one hour, whether you choose online or in-person sessions.

How are the fees paid?

Fees are payable monthly, after the completion of four classes. You may make the payment through GPay or NEFT transfer.

Are the fees refundable?

Once paid, the fees are non-refundable. We encourage students to attend their scheduled sessions as agreed.

Do I need to bring my own instrument?

Instruments are available at our centre for in-person classes. If you are attending online sessions, it is recommended that you have your own instrument at home. Bringing your own instrument for face-to-face sessions is entirely optional.

Is it really possible to learn music in 60 days?

Yes, with dedication, attentiveness, and persistence, it is possible to learn the fundamentals of music within 60 days.

Do you offer a fast-track program?

Yes, we offer Fast Track Accelerator Programs for students who wish to progress more rapidly.

What about study materials?

You will receive a copy of the study material followed by the institute at a nominal cost. However, students preparing for Trinity grade exams must purchase the official exam books separately.

Can I reschedule a missed class?

Yes, missed classes can be rescheduled depending on the tutor’s availability.

What is the ideal age to start learning music?

There is no age limit to learning music. At our institute, we welcome students of all ages—from kindergarten children to senior citizens.

Will completing all Trinity or international grades make me a professional musician?

Exams such as Trinity grades help you gain strong foundations in music, teaching you the fundamentals, techniques, and theoretical knowledge. However, becoming a musician requires much more than exams. Like any other discipline, it takes continuous practice, exploration, and creative application beyond the exam pieces to truly grow as a musician.

What makes A1 Music Academy special?

A1 Music Academy was founded by Balamurali Krishna, an experienced music mentor, composer, and technologist with over 35 years in the music field. He has collaborated with renowned playback singers and music directors worldwide for live performances. A certified Trinity syllabus instructor, he combines expertise in both Western and Carnatic music. His unique teaching approach helps students appreciate global music traditions while deeply understanding the intricacies of Indian classical techniques.

Do you provide online classes?

Yes, we conduct online music classes for students worldwide, scheduled according to your time zone. For Trinity exams, international students are requested to contact their local Authorised International Centre for exam details. Candidates may appear for face-to-face or digital exams.

How are Trinity exam fees handled?

Trinity exam fees are collected directly by the Trinity Exam Centre, usually two months before the exam (both theory and practical). Students must ensure fees are paid before the deadline to be eligible for the upcoming exams. Exam dates are scheduled based on examiner and venue availability. As per Trinity rules, fees are non-refundable and cannot be postponed.
